Commercial Entrances

Pella® Commercial pre-hung entrance doors offer wood or aluminum-clad wood frames and four different panel materials wood, aluminum-clad wood, fiberglass and steel. Aesthetically appealing for new as well as existing entrances, they're available with a wide variety of options.

Wood and Aluminum-Clad Wood Entrance Doors

Wood entrance doors add warmth and beauty to a building's interior design. Choose from primed wood, unfinished wood or low-maintenance aluminum-clad exteriors.

Wood Types

Enhance any project's design by coordinating the interior millwork, furniture and floors with Pella® wood doors made from Mahogany, Douglas Fir or Pine.

Pine

Unfinished Pine doors offer a versatile grain pattern, making them the perfect blank canvas. They can be finished in a light color for a fresh, modern look. Or they can be stained a rich color to resemble darker woods. Available on the exterior (primed) and interior of Pella commercial entrance doors.

Douglas Fir

Douglas Fir doors have a beautifully distinct grain pattern. But their beauty is more than skin deep. Douglas Fir is known for its extra strength and durability. Available on the interior of Pella commercial entrance doors.

Mahogany

For centuries, it has been sought after for its warm, rich color. Today, Pella brings the fine-furniture elegance of Mahogany to life. Now the doors can blend beautifully with other Mahogany woods in a building including millwork, windows, furniture and floors. Available on the exterior and interior of Pella commercial entrance doors.

Pella manufactures and distributes Pine doors that comply with FSC Chain-of-Custody (CoC) standards.1

Pella's EnduraGuard® Wood Protection

EnduraGuard wood protection offers advanced protection against the effects of moisture. Here's the difference:

  • Pella's EnduraGuard® protection formula has three active ingredients to provide advanced protection against the effects of moisture, decay, stains from mold and mildew. Plus an additional ingredient adds protection against termite damage.
  • EnduraGuard wood protection has a greater concentration of protective ingredients compared to major competitors using immersion treatments.3

*In testing performed in accordance with ASTM testing standards, Pella's Duracast fiberglass composite has displayed superior performance in strength, ability to withstand extreme heat and cold, and resistance to dents and scratches.

Energy Efficiency

  • Unlike aluminum, which is a natural conductor, Duracast fiberglass composite offers excellent insulating properties and exceptional energy efficiency.
  • The U-Factor of the Duracast frame is 2.4 times better than thermally broken aluminum.
  • When compared to thermally broken aluminum, Duracast fiberglass composite offers greater resistance to condensation and superior thermal comfort to those seated near patio doors.

Thermal Expansion

  • Unlike vinyl or aluminum, Duracast fiberglass composite offers low expansion and contraction rates that help ensure a consistent bond between panel and glass and a weathertight fit between panel and frame.
  • Duracast withstands extreme heat (up to 200 F) without warping, sagging, or softening even in dark colors.
  • Duracast withstands extreme cold (as low as -40 F), unlike vinyl, which can become brittle in extreme cold.

Impact Resistance

  • Duracast fiberglass composite withstands major impacts without deformation, especially in cold weather.

Durable Finish

  • Duracast fiberglass composite features a low-maintenance, factory-applied powder-coat finish that resists chalking and fading even in dark colors.

Vinyl Patio Doors
